Montana markets we serve

Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley

Bozeman, Belgrade, Four Corners and Big Sky. Montana State University is here, and this has been the state’s most sought-after valley for years.

Missoula and the Bitterroot

Missoula, plus Lolo, Stevensville and Hamilton down the Bitterroot Valley. The University of Montana anchors the city.

The Flathead Valley

Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Bigfork. Flathead Lake on one side, Glacier National Park on the other.

Billings

The state’s largest city and its healthcare and commercial hub. Rocky Mountain College and Yellowstone Christian College are both here.

Helena

The state capital, with a walkable historic downtown and mountains at the edge of town.

Great Falls

Malmstrom Air Force Base brings military families in year-round, and housing is markedly more affordable than western Montana.

Butte and Southwest Montana

Butte, Anaconda and Dillon. Historic housing stock and some of the best value in the state.

Eastern Montana

Miles City, Glendive and Sidney. Agriculture, ranching and energy work.

Questions worth asking your Montana agent

Water, access and fire are the three Montana questions that out-of-state buyers almost never think to ask.

  • Does this property come with water rights, and what exactly is on record for it? Ask your agent to confirm rather than relying on what a listing implies.
  • Were the mineral rights severed from this property at any point? Ask your agent to check the record before you make an offer.
  • Is there recorded legal access to the property? A driveway that has always been used is not the same thing as a recorded easement, and this matters on rural parcels.
  • What’s the wildfire picture for this address, and can I get an insurance quote early?
  • Is the house on a well and septic? If a well, ask how deep it is and whether the water has been tested.
  • Who plows the road in winter — the county, an association, or you? And how steep is the driveway in February?
  • How is the house heated, how old is the system, and what does a winter cost? In rural areas, ask how propane gets delivered.
  • Are there covenants on this property? Much of Montana is unzoned, so ask what could be built on the land next door.

How the referral works

1. Tell us about your move. Where you’re buying or selling, your timeline, and anything that matters to you about who you work with.

2. We find the right fit. We review your request and match you with an agent in your specific market — not a call center, and not whoever paid the most.

3. You meet your agent. We make the introduction. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll find someone else.

What this costs you

Nothing. There is no fee to the buyer or seller, ever.

We’re paid a referral fee by the agent after a successful closing — which means we only do well when you’re genuinely well served. It also means we have no reason to push you toward anyone who isn’t right for your situation.

How we choose agents

Shared faith is the starting point, not the qualification. Every agent in the network is a licensed, actively practicing professional with real transaction experience in the market they serve.

We look for people who communicate honestly about price, who will tell you when a house is a mistake, and who treat the work as service rather than a sale. Read more about what we do and see what clients have said.

Common questions

What if I’m relocating from out of state?
That’s one of the most common requests we handle. We’ll connect you with an agent who works with relocating families regularly and understands remote buying.

Am I obligated to use the agent you recommend?
No. Meet them, and if it isn’t a fit, let us know.

Do you help with selling as well as buying?
Yes — and with both at once, which is the situation most families are actually in.

Is this only for Christians?
No. Anyone is welcome to use the service. Our agents serve all clients professionally and in full compliance with Fair Housing law.

How quickly will I hear from someone?
We review every request personally rather than routing it automatically, and we aim to make the introduction quickly. You’ll hear from us either way.

Montana questions

Do you cover all of Montana?
We work across the state — Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley, Missoula and the Bitterroot, the Flathead Valley, Billings, Helena, Great Falls, Butte and eastern Montana. Tell us your market and we’ll tell you honestly whether we have strong coverage there.

We’re moving to Montana from out of state. What should we understand first?
That Montana is much bigger and far more varied than it looks on a map, and that the valleys people have heard of are not the only good places to live. The useful first conversation is about what you actually need nearby — work, schools, medical care, a church home — and how much winter driving you’re willing to do. A local agent who knows the difference between valleys will save you months.
