Questions worth asking your Mississippi agent
On the coast, insurance decides more deals than price does. Statewide, foundations and termites are worth asking about every time.
- What will it cost to insure this specific house? Ask your agent to help you get a real quote early rather than after you’re under contract, especially on the coast.
- What flood zone is the property in, is there an elevation certificate, and has it ever taken water?
- On the coast: what windstorm coverage does this house need, and what’s the deductible?
- Has the foundation moved? The Jackson area in particular has soil that expands and shrinks, so ask about cracks, sticking doors and any past repairs.
- Is there a current termite contract on the house, and when was it last inspected?
- How old is the roof, and how old is the air conditioning?
- For rural and acreage properties: well, septic, road access and drainage.
How the referral works
1. Tell us about your move. Where you’re buying or selling, your timeline, and anything that matters to you about who you work with.
2. We find the right fit. We review your request and match you with an agent in your specific market — not a call center, and not whoever paid the most.
3. You meet your agent. We make the introduction. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll find someone else.
What this costs you
Nothing. There is no fee to the buyer or seller, ever.
We’re paid a referral fee by the agent after a successful closing — which means we only do well when you’re genuinely well served. It also means we have no reason to push you toward anyone who isn’t right for your situation.
How we choose agents
Shared faith is the starting point, not the qualification. Every agent in the network is a licensed, actively practicing professional with real transaction experience in the market they serve.
We look for people who communicate honestly about price, who will tell you when a house is a mistake, and who treat the work as service rather than a sale. Read more about what we do and see what clients have said.
Common questions
What if I’m relocating from out of state?
That’s one of the most common requests we handle. We’ll connect you with an agent who works with relocating families regularly and understands remote buying.
Am I obligated to use the agent you recommend?
No. Meet them, and if it isn’t a fit, let us know.
Do you help with selling as well as buying?
Yes — and with both at once, which is the situation most families are actually in.
Is this only for Christians?
No. Anyone is welcome to use the service. Our agents serve all clients professionally and in full compliance with Fair Housing law.
How quickly will I hear from someone?
We review every request personally rather than routing it automatically, and we aim to make the introduction quickly. You’ll hear from us either way.

Mississippi questions
Do you cover all of Mississippi?
We work across the state — Madison and the Jackson suburbs, the Gulf Coast, Hattiesburg, DeSoto County, Oxford and Tupelo, the Golden Triangle and the Delta. Tell us your market and we’ll tell you honestly whether we have strong coverage there.
We’re buying on the Gulf Coast. What catches buyers off guard?
Insurance, more than anything else. Two houses a few streets apart can cost very different amounts to insure, and buyers who wait until they’re under contract to find that out can lose the house or the deposit. Ask about it on the first showing. An agent who works the coast every day will raise it before you do.
