Rhode Island markets we serve

Providence

The East Side, Federal Hill, Elmhurst and the Armory district. Brown and RISD shape the city, and much of the housing stock is genuinely historic.

The East Bay

Barrington, Bristol, Warren and East Providence. Strong schools and water on three sides make this a steady family market.

Warwick, Cranston and West Warwick

Central, practical and well connected, with the airport and a wide range of price points.

Newport and Aquidneck Island

Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth. Naval Station Newport brings military and civilian defense families through year-round.

South County

Narragansett, South Kingstown, Wakefield, Charlestown and Westerly. The University of Rhode Island is in Kingston, and the beaches drive a seasonal market on top of the year-round one.

Northern Rhode Island

Woonsocket, Cumberland, Lincoln and Smithfield. Bryant University is in Smithfield, and many families here commute toward Providence or Boston.

Western Rhode Island

Coventry, West Greenwich, Scituate and Foster. Where you go in this state for land.

Questions worth asking your Rhode Island agent

Rhode Island’s housing is old and its shoreline is exposed, which shapes most of the questions worth asking here.

  • For an older house, what should the inspection cover given its age? Ask specifically about wiring, insulation, the roof and lead paint.
  • How is the house heated — oil, natural gas, heat pump — how old is the system, and what does a winter actually cost?
  • What are the property taxes on this home? Ask your agent to pull the actual figures, because they differ a good deal from one city or town to the next.
  • Is the house on city sewer or a septic system? If septic, when was it last inspected?
  • For anything near the bay or the shore: what flood zone is the property in, has it ever taken water, and what does flood and wind coverage cost here? Get a real quote early.
  • Does the basement stay dry? Ask about sump pumps and any history of water.
  • What’s the commute like to Providence or Boston from here, and is commuter rail a realistic option?
  • If rental income is part of your plan, ask what this particular town allows for short-term rentals before you count on it.

How the referral works

1. Tell us about your move. Where you’re buying or selling, your timeline, and anything that matters to you about who you work with.

2. We find the right fit. We review your request and match you with an agent in your specific market — not a call center, and not whoever paid the most.

3. You meet your agent. We make the introduction. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll find someone else.

What this costs you

Nothing. There is no fee to the buyer or seller, ever.

We’re paid a referral fee by the agent after a successful closing — which means we only do well when you’re genuinely well served. It also means we have no reason to push you toward anyone who isn’t right for your situation.

How we choose agents

Shared faith is the starting point, not the qualification. Every agent in the network is a licensed, actively practicing professional with real transaction experience in the market they serve.

We look for people who communicate honestly about price, who will tell you when a house is a mistake, and who treat the work as service rather than a sale. Read more about what we do and see what clients have said.

Common questions

What if I’m relocating from out of state?
That’s one of the most common requests we handle. We’ll connect you with an agent who works with relocating families regularly and understands remote buying.

Am I obligated to use the agent you recommend?
No. Meet them, and if it isn’t a fit, let us know.

Do you help with selling as well as buying?
Yes — and with both at once, which is the situation most families are actually in.

Is this only for Christians?
No. Anyone is welcome to use the service. Our agents serve all clients professionally and in full compliance with Fair Housing law.

How quickly will I hear from someone?
We review every request personally rather than routing it automatically, and we aim to make the introduction quickly. You’ll hear from us either way.

Rhode Island questions

Do you cover all of Rhode Island?
We work across the state — Providence, the East Bay, Warwick and Cranston, Newport and Aquidneck Island, South County, northern Rhode Island and the western towns. Tell us your market and we’ll tell you honestly whether we have strong coverage there.

We’re a military family moving to Naval Station Newport. Can you help?
Yes. Newport cycles families through on orders constantly, and the island market behaves differently from the mainland. Tell us your report date when you reach out, and we’ll match you with an agent who handles military moves regularly and understands that you may be selling or renting the house again in a few years.
