Find a Christian Realtor in West Virginia
Buying or selling a home is one of the largest financial decisions most families make — and it’s rarely only a financial decision. We connect buyers and sellers across West Virginia with experienced real estate professionals who share your faith and conduct business accordingly. The referral is free, and you’re never obligated to work with the agent we introduce.
West Virginia markets we serve
The Eastern Panhandle
Martinsburg, Charles Town, Inwood, Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. The fastest-changing part of the state, driven by families who work in the Washington area and commute by road or MARC train.
Morgantown and North Central
Morgantown, Bridgeport, Clarksburg and Fairmont. West Virginia University and a strong healthcare base anchor this corridor.
Charleston and the Kanawha Valley
The state capital, plus South Charleston, St. Albans and Hurricane. Government, healthcare and chemical manufacturing.
Huntington and the Tri-State
Marshall University, and a market that reaches across the lines into Ohio and Kentucky.
Parkersburg and the Mid-Ohio Valley
River towns with older housing stock and some of the better value in the state.
Beckley and the New River Gorge
Beckley, Oak Hill and Fayetteville. The national park has brought steady visitor interest and, with it, buyers looking at cabins and rental property. Appalachian Bible College is in Mount Hope.
Lewisburg and the Greenbrier Valley
Lewisburg, Ronceverte and White Sulphur Springs. A longtime draw for retirees and second-home buyers.
Wheeling and the Northern Panhandle
Historic neighborhoods, and close enough to commute toward Pittsburgh.
Elkins and the Highlands
Davis & Elkins College is in Elkins, with Canaan Valley and the ski country nearby.
Questions worth asking your West Virginia agent
Two questions matter more in West Virginia than almost anywhere else, and buyers from out of state rarely know to ask them.
- Do the mineral and gas rights come with this property, or were they severed at some point? Ask your agent to confirm what’s actually on record before you make an offer — don’t assume either way.
- Is this property in an area with old underground mining, and if so what coverage is available for it? Ask early, because the answer can affect both insurance and lending.
- What flood zone is the property in, and has it ever taken water? Ask specifically about the creek bottom, not just the house — flash flooding here is very local.
- How stable is the hillside? Ask about any history of slips, the condition of retaining walls, and how the driveway handles ice.
- How do you actually get to the property year-round? If it’s a private road or a right-of-way, ask whether it’s recorded and who maintains it.
- Is the house on a well and septic? If septic, when was it last inspected?
- How is the house heated — propane, oil, electric, heat pump — and what does a winter cost?
- In the Eastern Panhandle: what’s the real commute into the Washington area from here, by car and by train?
How the referral works
1. Tell us about your move. Where you’re buying or selling, your timeline, and anything that matters to you about who you work with.
2. We find the right fit. We review your request and match you with an agent in your specific market — not a call center, and not whoever paid the most.
3. You meet your agent. We make the introduction. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll find someone else.
What this costs you
Nothing. There is no fee to the buyer or seller, ever.
We’re paid a referral fee by the agent after a successful closing — which means we only do well when you’re genuinely well served. It also means we have no reason to push you toward anyone who isn’t right for your situation.
How we choose agents
Shared faith is the starting point, not the qualification. Every agent in the network is a licensed, actively practicing professional with real transaction experience in the market they serve.
We look for people who communicate honestly about price, who will tell you when a house is a mistake, and who treat the work as service rather than a sale. Read more about what we do and see what clients have said.
Common questions
What if I’m relocating from out of state?
That’s one of the most common requests we handle. We’ll connect you with an agent who works with relocating families regularly and understands remote buying.
Am I obligated to use the agent you recommend?
No. Meet them, and if it isn’t a fit, let us know.
Do you help with selling as well as buying?
Yes — and with both at once, which is the situation most families are actually in.
Is this only for Christians?
No. Anyone is welcome to use the service. Our agents serve all clients professionally and in full compliance with Fair Housing law.
How quickly will I hear from someone?
We review every request personally rather than routing it automatically, and we aim to make the introduction quickly. You’ll hear from us either way.

West Virginia questions
Do you cover all of West Virginia?
We work across the state — the Eastern Panhandle, Morgantown and north central, Charleston, Huntington, Parkersburg, Beckley, the Greenbrier Valley and the Northern Panhandle. Tell us your market and we’ll tell you honestly whether we have strong coverage there.
We’re moving to the Eastern Panhandle to commute to the DC area. Where do we start?
It’s one of the most common moves we handle. The useful first conversation is about how often you actually need to be in the office and whether you’d drive or take the train, because that one answer narrows the search more than price does. Then schools and church home. A good local agent will start there rather than sending you listings.
