Iowa markets we serve

Des Moines and the Suburbs

West Des Moines, Ankeny, Waukee, Johnston, Urbandale and Grimes. Insurance and financial services drive steady growth, and the suburbs draw families for schools and newer neighborhoods. Faith Baptist Bible College is in Ankeny.

Cedar Rapids and Iowa City

Cedar Rapids, Marion, Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty. The University of Iowa and major employers make this corridor one of the steadiest in the state.

The Quad Cities

Davenport and Bettendorf on the Iowa side of the Mississippi, with Moline and Rock Island across the river in Illinois.

Northwest Iowa

Sioux City, Sioux Center and Orange City. Dordt University and Northwestern College anchor close-knit communities with deep Reformed church roots.

Pella, Ames and Central Iowa

Pella’s Dutch heritage and Central College, Iowa State University in Ames, and small towns across the middle of the state.

Waterloo, Cedar Falls and Dubuque

The University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, and Dubuque’s river bluffs and historic neighborhoods.

Questions worth asking your Iowa agent

Iowa homes are generally affordable and well built, but a few questions are worth asking every time.

  • Has the house been tested for radon? Iowa has some of the highest radon levels in the country, so this is a routine question here.
  • How does the basement handle heavy spring rain and snowmelt? Ask about sump pumps and any history of water.
  • Near rivers: what flood zone is this property in, and has it ever had water?
  • How is the house heated, and what does a typical winter cost?
  • For rural and acreage properties: well, septic and road maintenance in winter.

How the referral works

1. Tell us about your move. Where you’re buying or selling, your timeline, and anything that matters to you about who you work with.

2. We find the right fit. We review your request and match you with an agent in your specific market — not a call center, and not whoever paid the most.

3. You meet your agent. We make the introduction. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll find someone else.

What this costs you

Nothing. There is no fee to the buyer or seller, ever.

We’re paid a referral fee by the agent after a successful closing — which means we only do well when you’re genuinely well served. It also means we have no reason to push you toward anyone who isn’t right for your situation.

How we choose agents

Shared faith is the starting point, not the qualification. Every agent in the network is a licensed, actively practicing professional with real transaction experience in the market they serve.

We look for people who communicate honestly about price, who will tell you when a house is a mistake, and who treat the work as service rather than a sale. Read more about what we do and see what clients have said.

Common questions

What if I’m relocating from out of state?
That’s one of the most common requests we handle. We’ll connect you with an agent who works with relocating families regularly and understands remote buying.

Am I obligated to use the agent you recommend?
No. Meet them, and if it isn’t a fit, let us know.

Do you help with selling as well as buying?
Yes — and with both at once, which is the situation most families are actually in.

Is this only for Christians?
No. Anyone is welcome to use the service. Our agents serve all clients professionally and in full compliance with Fair Housing law.

How quickly will I hear from someone?
We review every request personally rather than routing it automatically, and we aim to make the introduction quickly. You’ll hear from us either way.

Iowa questions

Do you cover all of Iowa?
We work across the state — Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, the Quad Cities, northwest Iowa and the smaller towns in between. Tell us your market and we’ll tell you honestly whether we have strong coverage there.

We’re moving to Iowa from a much more expensive market. What should we know?
You’ll likely find more house for your money than you’re used to. That’s a good thing, but it can tempt buyers to move faster than they should. A good local agent will slow the process down enough to check the basement, the radon and the neighborhood before you commit.
