Questions worth asking your Kentucky agent

Kentucky’s limestone, rivers and older housing stock raise questions worth asking early.

  • In the Bluegrass and south central Kentucky: is there anything I should know about the ground under this property? Ask whether sinkholes or karst are a consideration here.
  • Near rivers and creeks, especially in the east: what flood zone is this in, and has the property ever had water?
  • For older homes: what should the inspector focus on — foundation, sewer line, electrical, roof?
  • For rural properties: well, septic and road access in winter.
  • In Northern Kentucky: what’s the real commute into Cincinnati from here?

How the referral works

1. Tell us about your move. Where you’re buying or selling, your timeline, and anything that matters to you about who you work with.

2. We find the right fit. We review your request and match you with an agent in your specific market — not a call center, and not whoever paid the most.

3. You meet your agent. We make the introduction. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll find someone else.

What this costs you

Nothing. There is no fee to the buyer or seller, ever.

We’re paid a referral fee by the agent after a successful closing — which means we only do well when you’re genuinely well served. It also means we have no reason to push you toward anyone who isn’t right for your situation.

How we choose agents

Shared faith is the starting point, not the qualification. Every agent in the network is a licensed, actively practicing professional with real transaction experience in the market they serve.

We look for people who communicate honestly about price, who will tell you when a house is a mistake, and who treat the work as service rather than a sale. Read more about what we do and see what clients have said.

Common questions

What if I’m relocating from out of state?
That’s one of the most common requests we handle. We’ll connect you with an agent who works with relocating families regularly and understands remote buying.

Am I obligated to use the agent you recommend?
No. Meet them, and if it isn’t a fit, let us know.

Do you help with selling as well as buying?
Yes — and with both at once, which is the situation most families are actually in.

Is this only for Christians?
No. Anyone is welcome to use the service. Our agents serve all clients professionally and in full compliance with Fair Housing law.

How quickly will I hear from someone?
We review every request personally rather than routing it automatically, and we aim to make the introduction quickly. You’ll hear from us either way.

More answers are on our FAQs page.

Kentucky questions

Do you cover all of Kentucky?
We work across the state — Louisville, Lexington, Northern Kentucky, Bowling Green and the east and west. Tell us your market and we’ll tell you honestly whether we have strong coverage there.

We’re a military family moving to Fort Knox or Fort Campbell. Can you help?
Yes. Both posts bring families into Kentucky every month. Tell us your report date when you reach out, and we’ll match you with an agent who handles military moves regularly and understands that you may be selling or renting again in a few years.
