Ohio markets we serve

Columbus and Central Ohio

The fastest-growing metro in the state, and the one where inventory moves most quickly. Dublin, Westerville, Powell, Hilliard, New Albany, Grove City and Pickerington each have their own school districts and their own buyer.

Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio

Mason, West Chester, Loveland, Anderson Township and the older neighborhoods of Hyde Park and Oakley cover everything from 1920s brick to new construction. Cincinnati has a deep church culture, including some of the largest congregations in the Midwest, and a housing stock old enough that inspection quality matters more here than in most markets.

Cleveland and Northeast Ohio

Westlake, Strongsville, Solon, Hudson, Avon and Chagrin Falls anchor a market that offers more house per dollar than almost anywhere comparable in the country. The trade-off is age — much of the stock predates 1960.

Akron and Canton

Affordable, stable, and home to Malone University in Canton. Strong territory for first-time buyers.

Dayton and Springfield

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base drives a steady relocation market. Cedarville University sits nearby and draws families to the surrounding communities.

Toledo and Northwest Ohio

Perrysburg, Sylvania and Maumee are the established suburbs of an affordable metro with easy reach to Michigan.

Mount Vernon, Ashland and the Smaller Markets

Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Ashland University anchor small-town markets that appeal to families deliberately choosing that scale of life.

Questions worth asking your Ohio agent

Ohio’s housing stock is old by national standards — large portions of Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton and Toledo predate 1950. That is often a feature. It also means the inspection is doing more work here than it would on a ten-year-old house in a newer market, and a good agent treats it that way.

  • How old is this house, and what has and hasn’t been updated?
  • What should I be asking the inspector to look at specifically, given the age and the neighborhood?
  • What do you know about the sewer and water service to this property?
  • Has this house been tested for radon, and is that common in this area? Much of Ohio sits in an elevated radon zone, so it’s a normal question, not a suspicious one.
  • Basements are close to universal here — what does water look like on this lot after a heavy spring rain?

An agent who works older housing will welcome these questions. One who brushes them off is telling you something.

How the referral works

1. Tell us about your move. Where you’re buying or selling, your timeline, and anything that matters to you about who you work with.

2. We find the right fit. We review your request and match you with an agent in your specific market — not a call center, and not whoever paid the most.

3. You meet your agent. We make the introduction. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll find someone else.

What this costs you

Nothing. There is no fee to the buyer or seller, ever.

We’re paid a referral fee by the agent after a successful closing — which means we only do well when you’re genuinely well served. It also means we have no reason to push you toward anyone who isn’t right for your situation.

How we choose agents

Shared faith is the starting point, not the qualification. Every agent in the network is a licensed, actively practicing professional with real transaction experience in the market they serve.

We look for people who communicate honestly about price, who will tell you when a house is a mistake, and who treat the work as service rather than a sale. Read more about what we do and see what clients have said.

Common questions

What if I’m relocating from out of state?
That’s one of the most common requests we handle. We’ll connect you with an agent who works with relocating families regularly and understands remote buying.

Am I obligated to use the agent you recommend?
No. Meet them, and if it isn’t a fit, let us know.

Do you help with selling as well as buying?
Yes — and with both at once, which is the situation most families are actually in.

Is this only for Christians?
No. Anyone is welcome to use the service. Our agents serve all clients professionally and in full compliance with Fair Housing law.

How quickly will I hear from someone?
We review every request personally rather than routing it automatically, and we aim to make the introduction quickly. You’ll hear from us either way.

Ohio questions

Do you cover all of Ohio?
We work across the state — all three major metros plus the smaller markets in between. Tell us your market and we’ll tell you honestly whether we have strong coverage there.

Is an older house in Ohio a bad idea?
Not at all — it’s most of the market, and well-maintained older homes here are often better built than what replaced them. The point isn’t to avoid age, it’s to know what you’re buying. That’s an agent-and-inspector question, and it’s very answerable.
