Find a Christian Realtor in South Carolina
Buying or selling a home is one of the largest financial decisions most families make — and it’s rarely only a financial decision. We connect buyers and sellers across South Carolina with experienced real estate professionals who share your faith and conduct business accordingly. The referral is free, and you’re never obligated to work with the agent we introduce.
South Carolina markets we serve
Greenville and the Upstate
The Upstate has one of the highest concentrations of churches, Christian schools and Christian higher education anywhere in the country — Bob Jones University and BJU Press in Greenville, North Greenville University in Tigerville, Anderson University down the road. Downtown Greenville’s revival has pulled in households from far more expensive markets, and the surrounding towns — Greer, Simpsonville, Mauldin, Travelers Rest, Easley — each have a distinct character and price point.
Spartanburg and Anderson
More affordable than Greenville proper, with real employment behind them, and close enough that many families work in one and live in the other.
Charleston and the Lowcountry
Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, Summerville, James Island, West Ashley and the peninsula are as different from each other as separate cities. Historic peninsula property, marsh-front lots and newer planned communities are three unrelated purchases that all get called “Charleston.”
Columbia and the Midlands
State government, the University of South Carolina, Fort Jackson and Columbia International University anchor a steady, comparatively affordable market. Lexington, Irmo, Blythewood and Chapin each draw their own kind of buyer.
Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand
Retirement, second homes and short-term rental property. The economics of a property you’ll live in and a property you’ll rent are completely different, and conflating them is the most common mistake here.
Hilton Head and Bluffton
Resort and retirement, heavily planned, heavily amenitized, with community structures that reward reading the documents.
Rock Hill and York County
Functionally part of the Charlotte commuter market, with South Carolina pricing — which is precisely why people move here.
Questions worth asking your South Carolina agent
South Carolina covers two very different geographies, and a house near the water carries considerations that a house in the Upstate does not.
- What flood zone is this property in, and has that designation changed?
- What will it cost to insure, and can I get a real quote early in the process rather than at the end? On the coast this is worth knowing before you’re emotionally committed.
- For anything on the water or marsh: what should I know about this specific lot that I wouldn’t notice on a sunny day in April?
- If I’m considering renting this out part of the year, what are this particular town’s or community’s rules? They vary a great deal along the coast.
- In the Upstate, how far does this address actually sit from the things I care about? Greenville County is larger than it looks on a map.
Ask these early. An agent who works the coast will have handled all of them many times over.
How the referral works
1. Tell us about your move. Where you’re buying or selling, your timeline, and anything that matters to you about who you work with.
2. We find the right fit. We review your request and match you with an agent in your specific market — not a call center, and not whoever paid the most.
3. You meet your agent. We make the introduction. If it isn’t the right fit, tell us and we’ll find someone else.
What this costs you
Nothing. There is no fee to the buyer or seller, ever.
We’re paid a referral fee by the agent after a successful closing — which means we only do well when you’re genuinely well served. It also means we have no reason to push you toward anyone who isn’t right for your situation.
How we choose agents
Shared faith is the starting point, not the qualification. Every agent in the network is a licensed, actively practicing professional with real transaction experience in the market they serve.
We look for people who communicate honestly about price, who will tell you when a house is a mistake, and who treat the work as service rather than a sale. Read more about what we do and see what clients have said.
Common questions
What if I’m relocating from out of state?
That’s one of the most common requests we handle. We’ll connect you with an agent who works with relocating families regularly and understands remote buying.
Am I obligated to use the agent you recommend?
No. Meet them, and if it isn’t a fit, let us know.
Do you help with selling as well as buying?
Yes — and with both at once, which is the situation most families are actually in.
Is this only for Christians?
No. Anyone is welcome to use the service. Our agents serve all clients professionally and in full compliance with Fair Housing law.
How quickly will I hear from someone?
We review every request personally rather than routing it automatically, and we aim to make the introduction quickly. You’ll hear from us either way.

South Carolina questions
Do you cover all of South Carolina?
We work across the state — the Upstate, the Midlands, Charleston and the coast. Tell us your market and we’ll tell you honestly whether we have strong coverage there.
We’re retiring to South Carolina. Does that change what we should look for in an agent?
It changes the questions more than the agent. Retirement buyers are usually weighing proximity to medical care, a church home, and family who may visit or eventually move nearby — and they’re often selling a long-held home in another state at the same time. An agent who handles that combination regularly is worth asking for.
